BRITISH PARTS NORTHWEST came about as a result of owner Greg Sherick's interest in the SCCA-sponsored Triumph Spitfire races held in Portland in the late 1970s. In an effort to reduce expenses he found it more economical to purchase a complete car, so as time progressed, BRITISH PARTS NORTHWEST was born. As the business flourished, they began importing new parts from England while continuing to carry used parts and expanding their advertising throughout the United States, thus becoming British Parts Northwest and slowly becoming the family-owned and operated company that they are today.
