About BOXES
That's right, 25 years ago, BOXES was established in a garage-sized building in Kelso, Washington. The first speaker box is the top speaker of the day, a good ol'6X9 oval speaker, sitting in a packing tray behind the rear seats or just rolling in the trunk! Of course, time has completely changed the car audio industry, and it has evolved into today's high-tech, fast-developing industry. BOXES developed with CNC routers, computer panel saws, laser cutters and other technical equipment to produce the precision parts and components required for today's automotive subwoofer systems. In the early 1990s, it expanded an additional manufacturing facility in Kewanee, Illinois to reduce transportation time and costs to the Midwest and East Coast.
