About Boosted Beauties
Boosted Beauties makes room for the steering shaft, they slotted the steering column and moved it about 1/2 higher. Boosted Beauties will likely wind up buying a slimmer directing shaft and coupler to assist with purchasing a couple of millimeters too. Test fit using a piece of PVC tubing and a motor in place to just get a rough idea of how much room there is on the back cylinder. The motor was mounted and the steering rack and steering shaft were in place on this. As can be seen, there is barely enough space. They have to pay attention to the steering rotation and engine movement. Then, just for fun, they cut off the flange from the factory passenger side header to see where that puts them. Because they had to take out the single motor lifting hook in order to get the motor to fit, the picture with the header shows it a little higher than it would actually be.
