About Beyul Retreat
Beyul Retreat provide a variety of lodging options, from main Lodge rooms to 12-person private cabins, to suit their needs. Foxes, elk, black bears, raptors, eagles, and trout also live in this area with Beyul Retreat. The refuge is tucked away in groves of Colorado blue spruce, Aspen, and Douglas fir trees and is surrounded by the red sandstone of the river valley. The vast property provides both comfortable areas for socializing and quiet retreats. The White River National Forest encircles the retreat, providing privacy and access for backcountry skiing, hiking, backpacking, and hunting. It is located five minutes past Ruedi Reservoir, a stunning 1,100-acre lake where you can go sailing, water skiing, windsurfing, kayaking, and fishing, 26 miles upstream from the confluence with the Roaring Fork.
