This historic 1860 property was falling into disrepair when Westchester residents Richard Gere and Russell Hernandez joined together to rescue it and turn it into a luxury inn and destination property. Bedford Post Inn town of that was orginally founded in 1680 after it was purchased from the Katonah indians. During the Revolutionary War the town was mostly burned to the ground by 400 British troops, although the orginal layout is intact.
