About Battery Products
The battery industry was very different when they founded Battery Products. In 1984. There were many household appliances that ran on batteries; however, the majority of them required regular 9-volt, AA, AAA, C, or D batteries, and occasionally 6-volt Lantern batteries. Although the landscape for battery-operated devices has changed significantly over the past three decades, these types of batteries are still in high demand today. Today, batteries power a lot more than just VCR remotes, pocket calculators, and flashlights. Battery Products that power many of today's most popular consumer electronics devices were designed specifically for that device. Technology advancements in rechargeable lithium-ion batteries make use of the power density of lithium to create safe, compact batteries that can power laptops or mobile phones for hours at a time. Of course, there are still the old standard sizes, but modern single-charge batteries are lighter and much more powerful than alkaline batteries.
