The Norris family owns and manages Base Camp Family Campground. Kevin and Mitch Norris came to Southern Colorado for the first time in the early 1980s to climb Blanca with some friends. Since then, they have been spending their vacations there. In 2016, they moved to this area after purchasing the Base Camp Family Campground ranch property. They're putting everything they've learned from years of RVing to help the park be a central base camp and information center for everything this unique area has to offer, as well as a clean, affordable, spacious, well-run camping facility.
