Their story begins with a labor of true love for co-founder Art & Lindsey. Over the past decade, Art has witnessed the destruction of coral reefs due to overfishing, overexports, and fluctuations in the water environment. Its core is Bali Necklaces. It was here that they decided to start their mission, looking for hand-carved artisan necklaces made from reused buffalo bones. Part of their proceeds will be repurposed for coral reef restoration in the area and ultimately create a better life not only for the inhabitants of the coral reefs but also for the culture of the people living on these islands. They decided to contribute 20% of the net sales of necklaces to Bali Necklaces. This is a non-profit, underfunded organization that not only strives to restore life on coral reefs, but also employs local labor.
