Augie's Pizza Independence is a local family business, not a national chain store that has existed for more than 40 years. Augustine ("Ogi") Damicon emigrated from Italy and founded his own pizzeria in 1965. Augie's Pizza has branches in North Royalton, South Russell and Independence. Ogi's independent pizzeria opened in August 2004. Augie's Pizza Independence still uses Augie's authentic recipes, which have been passed down from generation to generation and won the Best Sauce Award at the Cleveland Pizza Baking Conference. It's hard for them to think of something happier than eating pizza. They hope you can taste it as soon as possible.
