Since 1974, Angelo'S Taverna has been a mainstay on Sixth Avenue. The Laveo family owned and ran it up until March 2013, when Craig Jones and Eric Hyatt purchased it. They preserved the traditional family recipes while adding contemporary touches, including char-grilled oysters and balsamic-glazed ribs, to create the varied menu you see today. Three years after its revival, Angelo'S Taverna is now prospering in the same area, serving the freshest oysters from both coasts and having Denver's greatest happy hour.
