The automotive industry action group is a unique non-profit organization, oems, suppliers, service providers, government entities and academics that has been working here for more than 37 years to reduce the cost and complexity chain of automotive supply. AIAG was founded by visionaries from the big three north American carmakers - Chrysler, ford and general motors. They achieve their goals mainly by issuing standards and providing educational conferences and training. Member companies donate volunteer time to work for AIAG on a non-competitive open BBS to develop recommendations, guidelines and best practices for the overall development of the industry.
