Omer Arbel came up with the original idea for the 22 System. BOCCI, a design and manufacturing company with offices in Berlin and Vancouver, launched the product in 2007. It is still a breakthrough in the field of electrical accessories and products. Mounting plates are suitable for use in both new and renovated residential and commercial construction. They can be arranged vertically, horizontally, or diagonally. It is possible to rotate devices by 90 degrees, allowing for greater compositional flexibility. 22 System won the iF Design Award, the Yellow Pencil Yearbook Entry, and the Red Dot Award in 2009. In high-end residential and commercial projects all over North America, it has been used. In the near future, a brand-new collection of 22 series for the UK and EU will be released.
